How to Apply
I am at the ECE department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece, leading the “3Dim Intelligence” (3DI) team. Multiple PhD positions are open (and perhaps a PostDoc position, in case of strong interest).
Motivated people can contact me as described below.
PhD applicants
Please email me with the prefix "[AUTH interest PhD]" in the title. As a minimum, please include:
- A detailed CV, including:
- A list of publications (if applicable);
- A list of projects you have worked on, with a brief description of your contribution;
- A link to your MSc thesis (if already graduated) or an extended abstract (if still ongoing);
- A link to your GitHub profile (if applicable), highlighting the most important repo;
- The months (not just the years) for your education and work experience.
- A combined motivation & research letter (max 2 pages), explaining:
- your motivation for a PhD position,
- what research problems and research directions excite you,
- why you are a good fit for these research directions and a good addition to our team, and
- what you want to achieve in the next years.
- A transcript of records from your studies.
- The names and email addresses of 2 referees who can provide letters of recommendation.
Please note that emails with incomplete material might not be answered.
PhD/Researcher collaborations
Are you already a PhD or Researcher at another institute/company and interested and need a collaboration for your work? Drop me a line!
MSc/Diploma students @ AUTh
Please add the prefix "[AUTH interest Diploma]" or "[AUTH interest MSc]" in the title. A collaboration is possible for a Diploma/BSc thesis, or for being a Student Assistant in our research (e.g. helping PhD students). You can introduce yourself with a shorter (much shorter for BSc students), informal version of the material described for PhD applicants above.
MSc/BSc students outside of AUTh
Currently we do not offer internships. You can still email so that we have you in mind if this changes.
Thank you!
